This restaurant is an excellent option for cheese lovers in Door County. We visited for some tasting and shopping, and it exceeded our expectations! We had the chance to sample a variety of outstanding flavors and ended up purchasing our four favorites: aged cheddar, Santa Fe cheddar, Parrano (a blend of Parmesan and Gouda), and an incredible Gouda infused with rosemary and basil. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the store was clean and well-maintained. The selection is impressive—there’s truly something for everyone who loves cheese! We will definitely make a point to stop here again on our next visit to Door County.
I don’t mind spending money on high-quality cheese, but my experience here was disappointing. The staff was rude and seemed disorganized. The sample they offered us was smaller than a lima bean, and they suggested we weren’t serious about purchasing. I was simply appalled by the way we were treated for asking for two samples. I honestly don’t understand how a business selling cheeses priced over $30 a pound can thrive without allowing customers to try them and then treating them poorly on top of that.
This place is truly impressive. We had an amazing experience sampling their various cheeses and chatting with their quality control team. They were enthusiastic about offering us samples and discussing the entire cheese-making process. Their aging cave was remarkable, and we enjoyed a delightful little tour where we met their cheese cutter. It’s definitely worth a visit to see what a high-quality cheese operation looks like.
Delicious selection of cheeses! The customer service is perfect. They offer tastes of any cheese. The ghost pepper cheese is hot and very good! This shop is a must for anyone who really loves cheese!

Visited shop on a Wednesday. Clerk seemed board, on her computer. Refused wine tasting, no interaction. Dont waste your time here. Lots of other places in the Door.
Super welcoming store. Excellent selection of cheeses. Reasonable prices. Very friendly and generous with samples.
Must stop on the way home.. Bring a small cooler. The cheese is so amazing. Great service too.
Very clean place with very nice and knowledgeable staff. The cheese here is phenomenal.
