Have been here many years ago during our first trip to Maria Alm and had very good memories of it.So now being back in Maria Alm I wanted revive those good memories however this became to be a major disappointment.We ordered coffee and hot chocolate with cream but both were very waterish and basically tasteless.My partner drank only 2 sips of her coffee and left it, I finished my chocolate but not because it was so great tasting. "Husband " and I went here for dinner after a day on the slopes . We hadn't booked ( which I would recommend doing in future) but we just timed it right as they found us a table tucked near the bar . The staff were friendly, spoke good English and the service was excellent . The food was really good quality Italian , I had the Raviloi , husband had an extremely " hot" pasta dish and all washed down with cold beer and good house wine . Husband and I went to the slopes for dinner after a day. We had not booked what I would recommend in the future, but we just took it right because they found us a table near the bar. We had lunch consisting of pizza and salad, while most people around us were very large beautifully presented ice desserts. I can only talk for the pizza we ate and it was delicious. For Americans, a head up that pepperoni is listed as salami in the German menu. One employee who spoke English came and helped us with the order. The salad I had was iceberg salad with a dark green yarn. It was added a decent side salad with corn, carrots, cucumbers and squash. I asked if the salad was white iceberg or dark green and the answer was green. The question was lost in translation, but I would not have ordered it because I wished a healthy green salad for lunch. We visited this little café when stayed at Maria Alm. We had an ice coffe drink and an ice cup. Both were deliscious and we enjoyed it. When we were there it was crowded and it have only one waitress rushing back and forth. It take a while to get our orders. But you can sit outside and look into the busy street when eating. It was great overall.
