Good food, but service leaves much to be desired. We wanted to try francesinhas, and were recommended to visit this place. We liked the food, but unfortunately after mentioning 3 times that I don't want to have an egg on my food, it still appeared.. I understand they probably have them precooked, but I was told that they can serve it without the egg, otherwise I'd ordered something else. So naturally I was a bit disappointed. The sandwich was good for what it is.

This restaurant was super close to our hotel so my wife and I decided to give it a try. I ordered the francesinha. It is supposedly a traditional Portuguese meal. It has so much sauce, an egg on the top with steak, ham and sausage. The sandwich was so tasty . Obviously it’s not too healthy but it’s good to have every once in a while. My wife ordered the octopus. It was pretty good, but a little chewy.

Kind of surprised that this is such a popular place and was really busy when we left around 930pm. Was recommended by our hostel as authentic and good Portugese food. Honestly, the food was awful,the service a little better and overly expensive. Party of six. Ribs were ok, tropical smoked chicken was very dry, as was the tuna. Hardly authentic, poor value and can't recommend.

We wanted to try a Francesinho for the first time, and after a quick Google search, we found Dote, just off Avenue Liberdade. The place was really nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our meals. We would suggest for anyone looking to experience some local cuisine. Réservez une table maintenant

The francesinhas (little French girls are good, but the steak is a hit or miss, my experience with their steaks is bad. I have been several times here with friends and some friends liked it but others didn't. I usually ask for Americana, pork ribs, never fails. Service is super slow.

Brewery with a modern and cozy style, with an attractive decoration. Good Francesinha with just the right touch of spice. Normal service. Special attention to original small dishes such as hamburgers and miniature nails, ideal for tapas.

Portugese food is so good and and Dote does not let the side down. The friendliness and professional service of staff also helps make for a fantastic experience.

Good food! The mini versions of the traditional dish are big enough for a female meal. Dont ask for a house lemonade thou, youll get really strong lemonwater Réservez une table maintenant

Decent restaurant for the francesinha, but for the love of god, don’t order the hamburger ‘de Alheira’. The sides were nice though.
