Went here for dinner and Cleary and loudly specified and asked politely if the dish we where ordering had any peanuts or by products of peanuts as the person ordering had severe anaphylaxis, the answer was I'll check then no. About 40 min later when we had started receiving our meals and this person dinner had not arrived the waitress returned to say that yes the meal does have peanuts in the sauce , would you still like it, it's already made , ummm what ??? The place has been in Aberfoyle Park in one way or another for twenty odd years. It used to be around in the Hub itself and then moved to where it is now. Since then I don't think much has changed except maybe the goldfish in the tank. It's westernised, suburban "Chinese". The  service is pretty comical, the setting is bland at best and on a scale of one to ten the food comes in at "Well, I've had worse". The food might be sub-par, but the prices are average. All right, on a cold Friday night when you can't be bothered driving for miles this'll do, but you'll have left overs.

I tried this with the hope of finding a local hidden diamond of a chinese restaurant but instead found coal. It was one of the lesser experinces I have had food wise. My dish being really over the top garlic flavoured and also having to send it back. They offered to make it again but honestly I had no faith. The other dish was very bland and I felt I was wasting my calories. The decor is pretty drab and the prices are up there for the quality they are offering. I will not be returning.

This is a regular of my folks and I have eaten the takeaway before but I've not eaten in the restaurant for a long time. The service was friendly with an extensive menu range and some different dishes. Would highly recommend the beef and basil, honey sesame chicken and a malaysian type curry dish. All out of this world. Not much left to take home for leftovers either! Réservez une table maintenant

Tried this Chinese when it first opened,it was horrible then.Recently re tried it and it is still horrible.The worst Chinese I have ever tasted,greasy and tasteless. Yuk will not be going there again!

It's so nice! The honey chicken is awesome! ... bock bock bock！It is a real honey and real chicken breast！Lovely in every way provided with great service and food very happy would go again.

Great food great service. Apparently this review has to be 140 characters long so this should do it. No not quite. Maybe now. Still not , maybe they should tweak this feature.

Nothing to rave highly, typical western Chinese. Owner/waiter was kind enough to give us a birthday cake and candle on the house, Nice touch! It's okay Réservez une table maintenant

Let just say that my partner has real issues with leaving food on the plate anywhere we go as he 'hates waste' Not if you eat here and I've seen him

Thought I'd try this place because it was near home and in the Entertainment BookDo yourself a favour and avoid it.
