This location is black owned, the owner is amazing !!! The establishment is clean, nicely lighted, has sitting area inside, and friendly service. My Favorite is a quart of packed Strawberry with a waffle cone on the side. The strawberry has real strawberry is every bite. They have every flavor that you can possibly thing of Mango, Butter Pecan, Pistachio, Black Walnut, Coconut and much much more. A reliable scoop of good no-frills ice cream! Since 1976 and with its first store opening in SF, Double Rainbow continues to be family owned and operated to this day, with both retail and wholesale distribution across the country. This location was a little sleepy in one of San Pablo's many plazas. I decided to stop by after a dinner run to Koi Sushi. There were a ton of flavors but I gravitated toward my childhood favorites, mint chocolate chip and butter pecan. Portion was hefty, scooper was friendly, and the taste was refreshing, creamy and nostalgic. They also have yummy looking custom ice cream cakes in the display and booths on the side if you want to dine in. I would return to satisfy...
Love this place in downtown Benicia! Very cute area. The girls who work here are superb, very friendly, helpful and always have a smile on their faces. I especially love that they're the only ones who serve soy ice cream love the soy very cherry chip! Reminds me of Ben n Jerry's cherry Garcia but better in my opinion because it's soy! It's also wonderful that you can place an online order for pick up! Recently discovered this flavor this summer, hope it sticks around!
This ice cream is incredibly fresh and delicious. It's a classic mom-and-pop shop that has been a staple for years. You can't go wrong with any of their delightful flavors, whether in a waffle cone or as a hot sundae. They even offer pints for sale in any flavor you choose!

The atmosphere in this ice cream shop is fantastic! It has a nostalgic 60s diner vibe and offers a wide variety of flavors and options. The service we received was also excellent.
My family and I have a long-standing tradition at this restaurant. I tried a different dish last night and was absolutely amazed by it. It's always a pleasure to dine here.
The ice is old and the customer service is missing. Just cross the road for ice that is fresh and meets the place. We went in and went out.
Solid ice cream. Roughly 5-6$ a waffle cone scoop and usually quiet so not a lot of noise. I would recommend the banana walnut!
