Hoping it wasn't beginners luck but my first time eating here was a satisfying experience. Prices are a tad above average but the food is prepared in a content and professional manner. Upon entry, one quickly see the crew hard at work preparing food for customers. They don't play around or waste any time. The kitchen is directly behind the counter so everything can be seen. The menu is quite extensive for a small eatery. It was morning so I ordered a bacon and eggs breakfast with hashbrowns. The bacon was thick and tasty, 3 eggs, and great hashbrowns with a surprisingly different texture. The only fault was a large lukewarm coffee. I will return to try different items. Having worked in a kitchen before, I know this is not only unethical but also concerning—my family got sick after eating here. The service is terrible, the food is awful, and I’d honestly rather throw my money away than spend it here. As for why I stopped going in the first place, it’s because a close friend of mine was almost attacked by an employee. The place has a reputation for being sketchy, where you could end up with food poisoning or worse. When the meal finally made it home, my family devoured the fries, but I found the entire experience ridiculous. I wish I had recorded the order process to share how chaotic it was. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
This place went from one of the best family burger joints to a run down dog food establishment. Most noticeable is the chilli cheese fries, once a staple to the doublz empire, it is now a shell of what it used to be. Cheaper quality and quantity. I once used to be greatly satisfied with just the large chili cheese fries, now it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I probably wont be returning.
Doublz has consistently been a fantastic spot for a burger, fries, or just about anything you're craving. Their cheesy fries were absolutely delicious! I also tried a beef taco, which was outstanding (and I'm quite particular about my tacos). The fact that they serve breakfast all day is fantastic! Only through the drive-thru window. Food is amazing with huge portions. Best chicken salad...go for the large, price difference is minimal. Best French fries, French toast platter and burgers, burritos. More expensive but its well worth it. I also recommend the El Monte location i go there all the time since its near my work.
On 09-26-2022 the Post Mates driver delivered the wrong order; the driver said: We should not check your order before you leave the restaurant?. I spoke to manager Tony Delgado; within less than 20 minutes he personally delivered our right order to our house. Excellent customer service is what Manager Tony Delgado delivers!!
