I usually dont write Tripadvisor reviews but i felt I needed to this time. Only 1 person taking orders and rushing. Whilst waiting on the cue 2 plates went down to the floor when coming out of the kithen, of course i got pieces of one plate on my leg. Rushing. The guy taking our order almost splashed wine on us and when i had paid with card and asked for the ticket it was already on the bin, so no ticket. Checking my bank account realized we did not get the offer for being in a boat that day, went back to ask and that guy said i didnt say that. It was actually the first thing i said but he was rushing to much to listen. Of course no apologizes for his mistake and no money back, just keep rep...
My only problem with this place is that it was recommended by the sail company as an after party. Encouraged to come at 7pm and get a dinner and drink for $12 which is a great deal. But they also said we would get a free drink around 9 but that didn't happen until 10 so we were all waiting for the drink but if they could have been upfront we would have just ordered drinks while we waited ... Just a buzz kill
Make sure you go here before you are really hungry as the food doesn't come until an hour after you order it. This is regardless of the crowds.. The $15 dollar meal deal in itself made it worth the wait. Sometimes live music which is very nice and it is always busy. Definitely worth a visit if you stay overnight in the accompanying XBase!
This place was a catastrophe. Worst customer service ever. The main bartender/manager in the yellow shirt was one of the rudest people I've met. I was given a free drink voucher since I was staying at the hostel nearby and he wouldn't let me use it; not only that, he got angry that I even tried to. You were warned!

We visited in the afternoon and enjoyed wine at this restaurant. The service was excellent, with reasonably priced drinks and meals. Overall, it was good value for money. It was pleasant to sit outside on a nice warm day.
Totally renovated to Cyclone Debbie and renamed Boaty's. New menu and Thai Chicken Salad and Lamb Rack tasted amazing. Nice location, friendly staff.
The food is very tasty, the atmosphere is good (for young people) and it has excellent live music. For the afternoon and evening.
There is no place like this in Airlie beach, the vibe is very original but when the food arrived all our senses were astonished.
