we love downeys! john and liz are great! we will miss them so much! they were an institution in santa barbara gary and I wish them the best in everything that lies for their next cape of their life! we have enjoyed downeys since their first opening 30-35 years ago. john is a fabulous cook and liz is a charming hostess! he uses the best ingredients! it is a wonderful place for a special occasion.
