Five of us went in for dinner on a Sunday night for my 23rd birthday. Three generations, and five very happy customers. Appetizers included the risotto balls, bruschetta and the mussels. They were all delicious! My mum had the Pecan Crusted Chicken and was a little weary when it came out (she's not too adventurous), but said it was one of the best dishes she's had in a very long time. The chicken seemed crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. I had a pasta special, loaded to the brim with crab, scallops and shrimp. It was delicious and a large portion. My wife and I have been meaning to try this restaurant for some time and we finally did, and we were pleasantly surprised. Since we arrived a bit late for the noon special we decided to taste from the menu. I ordered the scallop and shrimp crepe, which came with a tasty sauce and a bountiful number of scallops and shrimp. The side salad was also generous and the greens were refreshingly crisp and fresh with ample tomatoes and cucumbers (being kind of a nut for salads one of my pet peeves is discovering lettuce that should have been discarded long ago). Downtown Bistro is one of our favourites for a special night out. Cozy comfort inside, relaxed and fun on the patio. We dined last night on the patio and it was perfect from start to finish. Marnie served us. She was a lot of fun and great to talk with. The food here is consistently good. Perfect portion sizes and always full of flavour. There is parking on site behind the bistro as well which is very handy when it's a busy summer night downtown.

Tori served us on Friday evening, July 14, and she made our dining experience fabulous! She is personable and such a natural. Great service creates the best atmosphere. Of course the food and wine are always superb here which is why we continue to eat at this best little bistro in Burlington! As usual, our compliments to the chef, sous chef, and dessert chef! We were served a delicious meal even that we arrived at 3 pm, between a lunch and a dinner.. Food was served beautifully, very hot and very tasty. Their prices are also very fair and the food is above average. Thank you , we will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

The Food is ALWAYS amazing. The dining area is beautiful, but not over the top. Absolutely welcome and comfortable feel. Staff is friendly and attentive. The food is always prepared perfectly, and flavour is brillent every time.

The service and the food were very good. They have a nice patio to dine outside. If you are looking for a small cozy restaurant this one is perfect.
