My friend and I were hanging out at English Bay on thursday and decided to go here instead of Yummy To Go. The moment we walked in this restaurant was full already and it was busy while customers were waiting for food. Few were waiting for take out orders. I got Sashimi &Dynamite Combo B $13.95) with Miso Soup $1.95) and my buddy A ordered Tokyo Roll $10.95) with Prawn Tempura $9.95). Staff was nice and friendly, however the food takes forever to come. My combo B arrived without my Miso soup, and the waitress forgot my order. I had to ask and remind her about the order. I enjoyed my food, and Miso soup was VERY salty. I asked the waitress for hot water to dilute it, but she brought cold wate...

I ordered delivery from Downtown Sushi Bar through UberEats and was pleased with their reasonable prices and delicious food. We tried the Prawn Tempura, Chicken Karaage, Katsu Donburi, and Ebi Mayo, all of which had crispy and crunchy deep-fried coatings. The Chicken Karaage was made with chicken wings instead of meat chunks, which was unexpected but still tasty. The Katsu Donburi was a pleasant surprise with vermicelli on top of the rice. I enjoyed the meal and it satisfied my craving for Japanese deep-fried dishes. I later discovered that the restaurant has its own app for ordering takeout or delivery, with the added bonus of a free drink when ordering through the app. Unlike UberEats, the...
Genuine, fresh, healthy. This place recently re opened after shutting down for a full interior renovation. It's back with the same menu full of variety and more importantly the excellent sushi and other Japanese food. They proudly advertise their fresh, wild salmon and tuna and for good reason. If you like your fish raw (as in sashimi), this is the place to go. Even if you're not a seafood fan, the other Japanese food is also well made. It's one of those places that I've been to so many times, that I know I can safely pick anything on the menu and enjoy it. Okanagan Springs is on tap, which makes a nice addition to your meal.
I recently visited this restaurant in Vancouver while walking around and feeling hungry. I decided to stop in for a sushi snack, but unfortunately, the experience was just okay. We had to wait a while for service and when we finally got a menu, we weren't given a sheet to list our order. The sushi I ordered was average and didn't taste very fresh. To top it off, the bill was surprisingly expensive at $37 for 6 pieces of sushi and two drinks. The bathroom was also not very clean. Overall, it was just a small, unimpressive place that I probably wouldn't visit again if I had known what to expect. Réservez une table maintenant
Located conveniently on Davie Street, this restaurant is right in the heart of the bustling Davie St strip. It's a great spot for a quick snack while shopping or a quiet place to catch up with friends without being overwhelmed by noise. If you check in with Yelp, you can score a free Californian roll. The food is satisfying, though not particularly standout. The menu is lengthy and it can be a challenge to choose just one dish with so many options available.
Initially, I had reservations about this sushi restaurant due to the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was decent - not very attentive, but kind and friendly. I decided to try the chef recommended Dragon Roll, Ocean Roll, Seattle Roll, and Vancouver Roll. The rolls were simple yet delicious. I also ordered hot sake, which I usually don't enjoy, but it surprisingly went down smoothly. You never know until you give it a shot.
Yummy AND Delicious. This IS THE BEST sushi place in Vancouver. I seriously can not eat anywhere else but here as far as sushi is concerned because it is soooooooooooooo good. I highly recommend the Deep Fried Dynamite roll THE whole roll is deep fried...yummmmmy. There food is always presented so nicely. They have an open kitchen so you can see that the chefs handle the food very clean. Plus it's ALWAYS busy, so you know its gotta be good.
The sushi at this restaurant is consistently delicious. It has become our 5-year-old son's favorite place to eat sushi. The staff even knows him and his usual order. I have tried multiple rolls and enjoyed them all. The young man who appears to be in charge is friendly and efficient, always making sure orders are taken care of promptly. Whether we dine in or get takeout, the food has been consistently good every time. Réservez une table maintenant
I had the spicy tuna poke bowl, really great and huge portion size for the money. I have been to this restaurant many times. Lawrence or Vivi usually serve us and they're both great, friendly, they always remember us and treat us like old friends! Excellent casual meal with awesome service.
The takeout sushi was not good at all. It was so bad that I had to dissect it to make it edible, so I am giving it two stars.
