I recently tried a calzone from D.P. Dough and I have to say, it was a delicious and unique experience! Unlike the typical calzone you might find at a pizza shop, this one had a softer and chewier crust, which I really enjoyed. The fillings were also tasty and plentiful, with a good balance of cheese, meats, and veggies.The service at D.P. Dough was quick and friendly, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of food. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving D.P. Dough a try if you're in the mood for a tasty and filling calzone that's a bit different from what you might find at a typical pizza shop.
Had a terrible experience today. They told me 8 minutes and then 15 minutes later an employee asked again what I was here for and when I gave my name it turns out my food was already ready and just sitting in the kitchen and no one bothered to say anything. Very unorganized and unprofessional. Originally it would 've just been 3 stars since that 's pretty minor, but when I opened the food I found a very long brown hair in it (my hair is short and black). That 's extremely unsanitary
I get these guys delivered occasionally and they're one of the few places that is consistently good so I felt compelled to write them a review here.DP Dough has been filling my late night cravings since college and I was thrilled to see one in Rochester. The Dough never lets me down!
Service was great and the delivery guy was cool and got here 20 minutes early. The calzones however weren't fantastic. Mine was pretty undercooked, and the cheese wasn't melted. If I was judging based on food alone I would give two stars.Food: 2/5

Don’t get me wrong the food is Great, customer service is horrible. Order my food online and was told I had to wait 30 more minutes for my food. If you do order be prepared to wait almost a hour for food
Great for late night comfort food when you're crying after submitting a project one minute before it's due and now nowhere else is open.4 years later, and still coming back
Even with the wait induced by the current staffing shortages, they quickly had our calzones ready. The food itself was excellent, especially the Wakin Bacon Zone.

Service was excellent and speedy. I got the cheeseburg zone and was unsure of what to expect but it tasted amazing!
