It was okay, nothing extraordinary. The prices for cakes, pastries, etc. have increased recently. $23 for a log cake and $30 for an 8-inch round cake, a bit pricey. They have expanded their menu to focus more on dinner options, but still offer ice cream treats (at least the popular ones). It's worth a visit if you're in the area, but not worth making a special trip in my opinion. The staff is very friendly, which is a nice bonus.
The parking lot was quite crowded when I arrived. I came for a DQ Blizzard and opted for the Snickers flavor, which was incredibly sweet and packed with caramel. The staff were friendly and served my dessert quickly. If you prefer, there’s a dining area available where you can sit down to savor your dessert or sample their famous DQ burgers.
I was quite disappointed with the Snickerdoodle Blizzard flavor. I had hoped to find chunks of Snickers chocolate bar in it, but instead, I was met with an overpowering taste of salty cookie dough. It was really unappealing. My husband brought it home for me, so I couldn't return it.
