Sylvan Lake Dq Grill Chill

The girl that served us was obviously not trained on how to use the machine to fill a cone with ice cream... look at the picture below... there was so little ice-cream, no swirl and it didn't even come to the edges anywhere. If you want to get ripped off almost $4 for the tiniest minuscule cone ever; then this place is for you. Otherwise there are so many great ice cream shops in Sylvan to hit up instead. Service was very slow and the product was a joke!

We were a busload and went to our tables to wait for treat delivery. The server rested his fully loaded tray on a half-wall and distributed to us. He wasn't paying attention; the tray became unbalanced and fell to the floor, taking two desserts with it. Nice recovery. He quickly replaced the treats and got the mess cleaned up. Most efficient. Nicely done.

Burgers and ice cream, it's tough to mess up. With the shabbiness of the local McDonalds, I go to the DQ for my fast food fix. The drive thru can be kind of slow, but that's the price you have to pay for char-broiled goodness. My only suggestion is to change the POS system to accept tap; if TD won't do it, try Moneris.

It usually quiet here. We had banana splits. We enjoyed them. The ice cream was a little melted. The store seems to always have maintenance issue, such as lighting and damaged booths. The grounds and exteriors are always in disrepair.

We used to stop often for $6 meal deal...they no longer offer it! You can get $5 meal deal or $7 meal deal but it is not the same. Food still good though! Wish you would get rid of the $5 meal and bring back the $6 meal!

Service is excellent. Owners are usually on site which makes a huge difference in polite staff. Burgers are always great. Ice cream cakes are fantastic.

Great food, treats service. I love their meals deals. A $6 or $7 meal with a sundae or blizzard (upgrade) can't be beat!

Another dairy Queen. Clean. Two blocks fro the beach. They could use a few more outside tables. Clean. Nice sunroom.

My wife likes it for takeout.. My nurse like it for guickness. .. cheapness Has a handy location near the Lake..
