Dragon - Réserver une table

Although the food was of decent standard, the quality of the service almost made me throw up. We ordered a regular sushi set for two people. Considering how few people were there in the restaurant, we waited much more than a 'fair' period of time for the meal, which paradoxically was not breathtakingly fresh. Especially the tempura was far from real Japanese-style tempura that I had been used to eating. The price was somewhere between high and reasonably high, compared to Asian restaurants in Berlin. But now let me explain what really made me write a one-star-review. When it came to the payment I was informed that it was not possible to pay with my card (an absolutely standard Visa Electron Card), despite the fact that right before the order I was told that my credit card would enable the payment. Unfortunately, the only English-speaking waiter had left the restaurant and I did not feel like using my semi-intermediate German to discuss the seemingly complex process of international money transfer. The only reply to my mundane explanations that a) I have no intention of walking ca. 300m to the nearest cash machine b) I have no intention of any provision being taken from my account, was "VISA NO; VISA NO". I also took a look at the credit card terminal, which I know very well, has no problem providing the payments with Visa cards. As soon as I wanted to prove the staff that the terminal was a fine tool for the payment I wished to make, by inserting the card and pressing the appropriate buttons, the terminal was hit out of my hand and that was it for me. For the rest of the evening, my thoughts were occupied by **** visions of the Asian staff's painful and sorrowful death. If you do not wish to have such evening, do not visit Dragon Restaurant. Or take some cash with you.

This Asian restaurant is less the 100m from the entrance to Sanssouci Park and a great choice for lunch given the lack of food options at this end of the park (see also 'Contadino'). We went on a very wet day when the park was very quiet, and were the only customers, sadly, as service was good and friendly and we thought the food was excellent.Also sadly, I've lost the receipt and can't remember exactly what we had, but basically a 'set' lunch of a main and starter. At the price of around 7 Euros I thought we'd get limited portions, but the main was a good size and the spring roll starter was actually 6 rolls with very good filling and nice sauces to dip. We very much enjoyed the food and the price.

We ordered Sushi at Dragon and it was pretty fast at our doorstep. The delivery guy was nice and placing the order was also very simple.The Sushi came good packed and we liked it. It was not breath taking but nice. The value for money is great. The only thing to complain was the fried Sushi which was fried a bit too long but still okay. 4 Stars - would order here again.

We had a group of 10 people without a reservation for lunch. The food was quite good. The service a bit disjointed, but not bad. Most had Thai and were pleasantly surprised at the quality.

The best value sushi I have had in a while. For the price, I don't think there is better sushi in Potsdam or nearby.
