It was my first time at a Dim Sum restaurant! Different! Servers wheeled around trolleys of food and you could choose what you want. It was all hit and miss as I was unsure of the different delicacies! I enjoyed some not all but next...time I will be more savvy! The only thing I didn't like was the way the servers stamped our card to reflect what we ate; at times i was uncertain why they stamped when we hadn't taken anything off the trolley so please watch! When we went to pay the bill they just gave a total amount with no reference to what was consumed! I felt uneasy about not knowing what I was being charged for! We went to Dragon Palace City Restaurant last night using our voucher purchased on-line. To say that we were very pleasantly surprised with the professionalism of this Restaurant was an understatement. It wasn't a full Restaurant by any means when we arrived but the friendly...greeting upon arrival to the faultless service by our two smiling and helpful Wait staff, Kathy Felix was a lesson to be learnt by the many other Restaurants in the CBD. Nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile. The food was so much better than your usual Chinese Restaurant, and so enjoyed by us and our Friend. We will be returning in the very near future to sample more of what is on their delightful menu....
not an expert in this kitchen this was absolutely great food,the service was not very friendly and helpful,The food service was great, with trolleys coming at intervals, but did not rush them into their next course,Food was of high standard and the temperature of the food was just right so that it could be eaten as they put it on the table.
We booked over the net but when we arrived our booking was not in there book( dimmi) Service was outstanding ! Some of the tables have a table cloth ours did not which was dissappointing.... Food was excellent Price for good service and food wasn't...over the top I will be back again....

this is a very lively restaurant, but the fact that so many Chinese people were here when we visited speaks volume. we had not booked, but the restaurant was in the location, our party of 7. that eating was delicious and we had a whole series of different dresses that were equally good.
my wife and I were now a few times and the service and eating is impeccable, the peking duck is fantastic. we had no court that we didn't think was excellent. it is nice to see also in perth a great service...many restaurants could take notices of these people.
I bought an online voucher for this meal The service is great, the food amazing very generous portions and a delicious cocktail all part of the deal Absolutely love this place would highly recommend
Loved the range of dimsum they had, service was quick but definitely don't recommend to sit at the back on the stage, service will then be slow. overall loved it!

Looking for good yum cha we finally found a high standard in the dragon palace. also not cheap or dishonestly expensive. worth was appropriate for good quality.
It sells a variety of Asian dishes and I particularly like the duck rice with soups. It sells yum char and I like the beef dumpling, carrot cake and pork buns
