Drakes Fish And Chip And Take Away

Called in tonight don't no why they certainly wasn't the best fish and chips quite the opposite . Not like me to complain they usually are nice . Treacle sponge and custard was shocking so most of our meal was a waste . Waited 20 minutes their was only 1 more table eating . It was freezing cold inside . Come on drakes what the heck you doing £30 it should have been better

Absolutely awesome fish and chips lunch. The service was great, the fish was absolutely delicious and freshly cooked, chips were perfect andnthe mushy peas were out of this world. Can't recommend it enough. You pay for waht you get, great food and great experience, Thank you

I recently went back to Drakes in Knaresborough and enjoyed another delicious meal of fish and chips along with a glass of wine! Drakes, whether in Knaresborough or Harrogate, consistently delivers top-notch taste and service.

Returned to knaresborough for a day out, finished off at drake’s restaurant once again was absolutely beautiful. crisp batter and beautiful chips. good for value for money and friendly waitress service. highly recommend. Réservez une table maintenant

Absolutely first class... steaming hot... Proper amount of gravy( lots) pie tummy... Chips proper job.. And to serve pot of tea/coffee and bread and butter as standard is enlightened. Staff were sooooo nice....

The food is good and the service is excellent. The restaurant is located in the town center and is within walking distance from our accommodation. They are also licensed so you can have a drink if you choose.

The chips were terrible - they were small, burnt, and had a musty burned taste that indicated old cooking oil/fat was used. They were inedible.

Has this place changed ownership? Very disappointing fish and chips…fish batter dry chips soggy used to be the best… I won’t return…

Fab fish chips we took back to our cottage. We had take away and they were great when we got them back.
