Drathenhof - Réservation de table

This is a big restaurant situated outside Kiel, but easy to reach. It is placed inside an old farmhouse, creating a very nice atmosphere. I was a member of a group, having reserved a part of the restaurant, but still overlooking the cosy fireplace. We had a buffet dinner with a large selection of both cold and warm dishes. It will take too long to explain all the dishes served, but I found most of it of a high quality. Some of the selections were German specialities, which was interesting. Dessert table was also plentiful and varied. With the food we were offered white or red wines, both of good quality. We visited the restaurant known to us for years on 5.6.11 with 70 people (Many foreigners). The food(buffet) ordered months ago was good. The price of €30, for welcome drink, buffet, coffee/kitchen and evening soup is very good. When picking up the ordered wing, the host maulted with bare words about too low drink consumption that he did not deserve anything, added etc. Two days later, we were looking for a clearing debate, especially since the scope of food was agreed with the host himself and accepted by him. Again the same dismissing behaviour, where we had expected an apology. It does not place any value on further visits, whether individually or in a larger group.

We went to Christmas brunch today. It was the first time we were disappointed. The buffets on normal Sundays are much better. There were only two meat dishes, crust roasts and poularde and a fish dish. On Christmas I had other and higher expectations. The vegetables are cold, no sauce, no dish, the pancakes are crushed without anything. They didn't taste. We sat in the barn, a glass of O juice had to be picked up from the main restaurant, for payment we also had to go to the main restaurant. My conclusion: Not again for Christmas. Parking: very good

We have celebrated our wedding here and have also experienced other parties or just the good food! Eat really always top! Service super! We always like to come! Was there to brunch today. Unfortunately, there was no more orange juice after that. The warm food was already cold at about half of the 12th stir did not taste like egg. It was the first time we were back, we won't go there. Staff was very friendly meal type: Brunch

We were a few times to the lunch table there and very satisfied, but miss the lunch table map of the next week on the internet on your side. If the flyer is no longer valid it would be nice to find the lunch table card on the Internet. We don't live nearby.

No dislikes. The Drathenhof hosted 140+ Wedding Guests who eat and danced the night away accompanied by an organ and guitar etc.; truly a night to remember; the shrimps were delicious!
