The Drawehner Torschenke is a very cozy guest house in a historic building already in the 18th century. The century was a bargain economy. The Toschenke is located directly at the junction between Hitzacker city and Hitzacker island and thus directly at the Jeetzel. The ambience is rustic, the operation is very nice, attentive and accommodating. In addition to the menu available on the internet, daily meals are offered. We opted for beef liver with apple and onion with potato pulp and for the slumber pot (3 pork medals with mushrooms, vegetables and roast potatoes).
