What a terrible experience from the owner. Wow! Asked for a ice coffee NOT a cold brew since i do not like the taste of cold brew. I requested as i order for a hot coffee with a plastic cup with ice on the side so i can make my ice coffee. As my hot coffee was ready the owner gave me a hard time to get a plastic cup with ice. As he clearly was rude he said i was working the system haha. I explained why I’d requested my drink this way he continued to give his pathetic reasons why he doesn’t give out a plastic cup and ice. Again they do not serve ice coffee made with cold coffee they only sell cold brew which has a different taste. While other customers watched and listened to this owner argue...
Very nice place, and worth a visit if you are in the area of Spring Lake! I enjoyed a large, hot and flavorful cup of Assam black tea. However, they have lots of coffee, sweet chai lattes, matcha, hazelnut, vanilla and other flavors of syrup for... so many good drinks to choose from in three varieties: hot, iced and frozen. Go there. There's good parking in front especially before 9am. It's friendly and people seem to bring their dogs which is fun to see. Also, lots of baby carriages and strollers with moms boosting up their caffeine to help get them through the day. I regularly visit an office located across the street from Driftwood, and I always look forward to stopping by for a large hot coffee and a few moments of peace in their cozy seating area. The service is consistently friendly, and the coffee is great. The prices are reasonable, and the shop itself is charming, situated in a lovely main street location.
Great family friendly coffee shoot. Frozen latte is best I’ve had in a long time. Way better than Starbucks or Dunkin’. I love that they have a kids size smoothie options normally I would have to split two regular. This is perfect location across the park playground. Also bathroom is clean and family friendly. Charming little spot! However, I wouldn’t recommend ordering any espresso-based drinks here. We only managed a couple of sips before we ended up throwing it away—it was incredibly weak! We really wanted to enjoy it, but it turned out to be a $12 disappointment. We ended up going to Starbucks instead.
The barista suggested a hot Matcha tea with honey and coconut milk. So delicious and a great alternative to my usual cappuccino or latte. This is a cozy spot to relax and refuel, featuring a couple of loveseats, plenty of two-tops, and counter seating. Pet friendly with treats for your doggies too!
My boyfriend and I visited Driftwood yesterday, and we can honestly say it is one of the best if not the best iced coffee we have ever had. We are not from the area, so when we tried the coffee and loved it, we HAD to come back a few hours later. Also, the customer service is great!
