I've been past Driftwood a few times on weekends and was unable to find a free spot, so today I tried mid week - where there was a nice crowd and plenty of tables available. The staff were all very friendly and had smiles in their faces. The menu was large with many healthy options scaring me a little. I chose a vegetarian breakfast and asked for gluten free toast (which was no problem) and a coffee. I sat at my table and was immediately spoken to saying that the "fritter" that the breakfast was served on was not GF - was that Ok or did I want to change my order - so nicely done and with real care. Sunday brunch, cafe was 3/4 full with an abundance of staff but only 3 actually serving meals.The 2 capps ($8.00) arrived at the table within minutes of ordering, too quickly as it turned out. The food took 30+ minutes. I had to queue for the one operator taking orders.The second time I had to queue was to ask where our brunch was, after all, people who arrived after us had been served and one couple had even eaten and left well before we say our meal.No cutlery or napkins on the table.Old and half used sugar sachets in the sugar container on the table. Driftwood has a great location benefitting from a gorgeous seaside ambience. You can dine alfresco or inside. The menu is good offering plenty of healthy interesting options. We had a vegetarian omelette and coffee which was great. The staff weren't exactly warm more transactional and we had to repeat our simple order 4 times so listening skills were an issue. Nice little place perfect for a casual breakfast.
Great smoothie bowls, bacon and egg rolls and so many other choices. They do the best chai latte I have ever had. You can bring your dog as there is plenty of outdoor seating and it's family friendly. Service can be a bit slow when they are busy but you expect that anywhere. Staff are friendly and there is a small gift shop attached

What a pleasant surprise. The menu is fresh and modern and the staff seem to have a spring in their step. Like a lot of places you have to order and pay at the counter but then the food is delivered to the table. The coffee was great, the food different and pleasant. We'll be back!
Fresh delicious food . Bonus is that they will do their best to serve you. Mega bonus is that I was in neck pain and a staff member recommended the Happy Body pain clinic at manly . Best therapist I have seen in 12 years of pain
I loved this place. Fresh juices were amazing. Had a variety of food which were all delicious. Was a bit pricey but worth it for the quality. Loved the Pandora modern hits music. Folks working there were very friendly.
Ate here with a friend, overpriced, absolutely foul with the worst tasting hollandaise I've ever had. I would never come back here. Couldn't even finish our meals was aweful!

Pricey, terrible food and waited way too long for it!! Disappointing ???????? other tables all around us eating and we left waiting, only to receive cold over cooked food!!!
