Du Tilleul - Réserver une table

We had looked at the menu and decided it was too short and simple for a good dinner but we noticed the lunch specials. Accordingly, the next day while walking around the perimeter of the village we got to the Tilleul at around the right time so decided to try their lunch. The restaurant was fairly full but we were fitted in and we got a pichet (carafe) of wine. Each day has a different fixed menu but it is excellent value and good quality. One takes the starter salad from a very good buffet. Everyone else appeared to be a good representation of local people, tradesmen stopping for a break, a table or two playing cards after lunch, and others who were almost all well known by the staff.

Excellent meal, we had the dish of the day for €9.50, cauliflower, spatzel, chicken supreme with sauce, and a wild boar stew a little more expensive but it was worth it. Simple and excellent dessert. In short, I advise Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
