My husband and I chose to eat à la carte rather than take the menu of the day and were delighted with...our choice of a delicious Cassoulet de Champignons followed by fillet of sea bass in a Champagne sauce and fillet of venison, respectively. I found the sea bass exquisite in terms of its flavour and texture and after a shared nougat icecream and an excellent bottle of local Geneva red wine, left the restaurant purring. We used to live in Bernex and this restaurant is terrific. It's run by only the chef and one waitress, cosy in the winter and has an open terrace overlooking the mountains in the summer. The food is truly wonderful with seasonal dishes and fresh...vegetables from the garden. Its French cuisine in a classic Swiss village. If you go there try a bottle of Casanova which comes from the Bernard Cruz vineyard across the road. Sadly missed by us!
