"A colleague of mine recommended this place and I decided to book reservations for my mother's birthday. We were a party of 6. The fish, kimchi and rib tips you got as starters were so delicious! I got the beef soup and it had the perfect amount of spices. I also ordered the fried dumplings that I think they were Veggie, that was also quite delicious. I loved that there were also shades that separated the tables."

This is one of my favorite restaurants for Korean tofu soup. I always get the same thing when I get here, her mixed soondubu soup. Usually you start with a bunch of secondary dishes. Approximately 3 shades of secondary dishes usually consist of kimchi, marinated spicy cucumbers, marinated tofu or if you are lucky, you can get beef short ribs. Everyone gets his own fish dish and a salad. My favorite side dish is definitely fried fish, beef short ribs and marinated tofu. If it is your first time that soondubu, as soon as the soup arrives at your table, crack the raw egg into the soup while still hot, so it can cook in the soup. The mixed canopy comes with shells, mussels, oyster shrimps and be...

I came here last Saturday and went mostly with a good impression. The children's area is closed because of Kovid, the staff wearing masks and all waters are filled generic costco water. The portions were good for food, and they have a unique menu than any of the other Korean restaurant in the area. However, prices are irregular. The LA Galbi is not worth $28 and vegetables japchae is not worth $19, especially as it is vegetables. Overall the taste was good, the price was expensive, parking was much, the service was good and attentive, I would come back here again, but not often.

Wish we had known about this place sooner. Very good food, rivals the best of those in Los Angeles area, if not better. All the ordered dishes were well balanced with deep flavor of authentic Korean food. Dumpling (home made) and rice cake soup had very tasty dumplings in rich soup base. Spicy Pork was no different rich, flame cooked flavor and ple portion (photo is after about half was eaten). The seafood pancake was crispy outside and soft inside. What made it really good is the base mix that was just right. Definitely the best Korean restaurant in Philadelphia.

Really good Korean food. The wait staff is fast and friendly. I do however have a complaint. As a non Korean who grew up around Koreans, you can see that they don't try to be as inclusive when it comes to their authentic dishes. For example, I ordered stone pot rice specifically for the crunchy bits but instead they gave me just plain white rice. I had to beg my waiter for the crispy rice. They apologized but it make me wonder if Gaijins are truly welcomed here. One more thing, the Kimchi is a bit too young for my liking.
