Vibe is great with gorgeous new fittings and some great tunes. Can't wait for future live music nights. The platter for 4 people is amazing value and the house smoked wings live up to the venue name. Wine a little pricey but countered by the great value meals. Staff are attentive with some newbies still learning the ropes on a very very busy opening weekend but all done with a lovely smile. Food was excellent. I ate the roast pork special but the Duck loaded fries were even better than i thought they would be. I would suggest putting on an extra staff member for the bar though, sunday happy hour, if the service is super fast more people might bring more friends. Main reason i ended up there was because Old Canberra Inn was packed.
I went on Friday night with my parents from Wagga and thought I'd give the new kids on the block a try. We enjoyed the wide selection of craft beers and interesting wine list. If you're into your Chardonnays try The Lane wine. The band that was playing was excellent and created a fantastic atmosphere. Yum food, I can't wait to go back.
It's hard to believe but these are probably the best burgers in Canberra. Chicken or beef, both are punching above their weight as top shelf offerings. Don't sleep on the fries either, salted to perfection with a large enough serving to make you regret finishing the lot. Not bad for less than $20.

I ordered the Rump Steak with battered veges and spinach. It was delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend if you are looking for good pub food check this place out for your pub food cravings.

Bright and airy, this contemporary pub has an upbeat vibe. The food comes out delicious, fresh and hot and the happy hour drinks are a bonus.
Duck chips, duck burger and fish. All yummy but the duck is awesome, up there with the best duck dishes I've ever had. Yummmmmmmooooooo
