0 stars. I had the worst experience with a bartender I have ever encountered. His lack of customer service skills was appalling and downright rude. My friend and I went to order food next door, but had to wait 40 minutes, so we decided to stop by Duffy's for a drink in the meantime. When we approached the bar, the bartender yelled at us, saying, "I don't make that! What do you want?" He continued to shout at us to "go across the street" as if we were children. It was not only rude but also humiliating, as the entire restaurant turned to look at us. After the Staten Island half marathon, we waited for dinner to celebrate my friend's achievement! I was really looking forward to it because I had heard a lot about Duffy's but never had the chance to go (or I just forgot!). I ordered a specialty burger—the blackened blue cheese burger—along with a side of their fries. I definitely enjoyed the crinkle-cut fries; they were nice and crunchy! A nice bonus is that they don't charge any extra fees for credit card payments!

Fantastic juicy hamburgers cooked to perfection with your choice of toppings ranging from tomatoes lettuce to sautéed onions. The French fries are excellent here as well. Casual dining atmosphere. No reservations required. Parking in rear. Service is on time and polite. Have eaten here more than once and would definitely return!

Everything about this restaurant deserves a perfect 5-star rating—ambiance, food, and service were all exceptional. I will definitely be returning! P.S. The bathroom attendant in the ladies' room, Tara, was incredibly sweet.

This quaint local bar is cozy with an extension the back for more customers. The servers are always pleasing. If you want to try one of the best burgers in NYC you have to go to Duffy's.
