As always Wetherspoons offer terrific value for money. Where else can you get sirloin steak and a drink for £7.80? My only gripe is that the food is served on cold plates and the steak is lukewarm.The Duke of York is an interesting venue as it used to be Leominster's post office, so you can learn its history during the short time it takes for your meal to arrive.Good for the everyday, perhaps not for the special occasion.
We have been visiting The Duke of York for about 30 years. It is cosy and welcoming, like being invited into someone's front room and impossible not to share a conversation with others there with you. Joy, Lyn and Harold are relaxed hosts and you will be friends in no time. (see you soon).
The restaurant has good traditional food options, but lacks variety in their beer selection as they only offer keg beers. The atmosphere is welcoming in this lounge pub, but it would be improved by adding a couple of cask ales to their menu.
Been coming here every boxing day for more year's than l care to remember. Lovely relaxing pub with a very relaxed friendly atmosphere. A pub that always feels welcoming, definitely worth a visit. Réservez une table maintenant
