This little café is located on the corner of Carrera 20 in Casa Montoya fronting the main plaza next to the Iglesia Nuestra Señora del Rosario (church). Notable for desserts, the tiny kitchen supports an impressive-sized breakfast and lunch menu, besides.A cozy interior section contains around a half dozen tables and adjoins a pleasant courtyard, in the Hispanic tradition. Offerings include pizzas, mini-burgers and casseroles (cazuelas), which are common local fare. However, besides the local version, others, with German, Italian and Mexican slant are offered and are very tasty. Portions aren't huge, so there is room for dessert. The best bet is probably selection from a variety of cheese cake. Don't be daunted it arrives at your table in plastic take-away box, they are actually creamy and good. The menu also lists alfajores (a rich cookie originating in Moorish Spain which spread to Mexico, South America and the Philippines), here covered in chocolate. Truffles (trufas) are also listed on the menu, but they never seem to have them...As everywhere in Colombia, service here is friendly and attentive. Credit cards are accepted.
