Almost didn't want to leave a review. This place is fantastic. I've always had good service, the food is excellent. The prices are fair, the reason I was hesitant to leave a review is purely selfish wanting less wait time for a table. That wouldn't be fair to them though, they are fast and efficient at getting the food out and well worth waiting for a seat. Try their sausage gravy if you get a chance, most places serve country gravy with a little hint of sausage, this place makes it right. Whatever you get off the menu I would be surprised if it wasn't good. I've only eaten there a few times and was equally impressed on all visits, now Im willing to drive an hour one way on occasion just to...
The chicken and noodles were made just like my grandmother used to make! They are not always on the menu, but were a Wednesday special when I went. The dish came with soup and one side, and the noodles were very filling. The onion rings were underwhelming as a side, but I was told they were normally served as a premium option. I also ordered the cheese curds, which are hard to find around here, and they were delicious! The portions of all the meals I saw were great and the prices are very reasonable. The service was excellent, although there may be a short wait for a table. Once seated, the service is speedy and efficient.
Oh wow, what a hidden gem! I had driven past this place so many times but finally decided to check it out with a friend. We were absolutely amazed by the breakfast we ordered. We returned a few days later for lunch and it was equally fantastic. We tried the pork tenderloins and let me tell you, they were hand-cut and hand-coated and so delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area, it's really affordable too!
Been going for years, won't go anymore! A $2 charge for sharing anything! I'm on a special bariatric diet and don't eat much. I wanted to splurge and have ONE french fry from my great granddaughters plate. Guess what.... That fry was $2!However, the food and staff are great.Prices went up again, but I can understand that. We arrived here at 1:30. They close at 2:30. They seated our party immediately and made us feel at home. We were never rushed. Service from Maggie was awesome!! Meals came out quickly and there were only smiles all around our huge table. Prices are very reasonable. This diner rocks!!!!
They open at 6 and we were there at 7;30 and the place was hopping with to go orders as well as sit down. There were alot of choices to pick from and the biscuits were special. Good prices and plenty of parking. The restaurant sits on CR64 off Hwy 27. Great service.
