He picked up a small piece of bacon from the side and tried to show it to me, but I wasn’t fooled. When I lifted the croissant he gave me, which he said contained bacon, it was obvious that the one I first pointed out still had no bacon at all. It would have been completely reasonable to make a new one, but gaslighting a customer is unprofessional and very disrespectful. Your staff should feel ashamed of this conduct. It can genuinely ruin someone’s day. Please be more considerate in how you treat your customers.
