Found this close to our hotel. Had to try their Montreal Smoked Meat since we are here (Laval is close enough, right? . Wasn't too busy and we were seated promptly. Had a good family restaurant feel to and was very causal and comfortable. We ordered the Smoked Meat Bagel and the Club Smoked Meat. Our food arrived in decent time and looked great, and it was. The only complaint is that the bagel was too small for all the meat on it and was a challenge to hold and eat. But yes their smoked meat is great. It was good enough that we ordered delivery after the show to our hotel and it arrived in 15 minutes. So good...highly recommend
As a Montrealer I tend to forget how amazing our Montreal smoked meat is! Visited This location last night and it really blew me away! The food was amazing, the staff are so nice and friendly, the decor and atmosphere was refreshing! Super clean, you can see the owners really care for the place! And made this location really stand out from the other Dunn's I have been to! I will definitely return and recommend to all!
When I told a foodie friend of mine that I was going to be in the Montreal area, he suggested that I find poutines. I decided to try the smoked meat poutines, which was very tasty, although decidedly not health food. The service was friendly and prompt, and the beer was cold. It was what I was after at the time.
Everything was excellent at Dunns Famous. The smoked meat is extremely tender and tasted great. I had the Reuben while my son had the burger topped with smoked meat. The others in the group had a Thai salad and spaghetti with meatballs. Would highly recommend this place.

Sit outside on a warm summer day and enjoy one of the best smoked meat sandwichs with old time fries and pucker up coleslaw. Nothing fancy but great service and a filling lunch (or breakfast...or supper....they never close!)
When I'm in Laval and want to visit somewhere that give me that good old fashioned diner atmosphere, this is the place I frequent.
Classic smoked meat sandwiches, great portion sizes, great for a big meal. The staff were friendly, would definitely go back.
Descent place to grab a meal with the family. Good portions friendly staff. Service was timely and Restaurant was clean.

This Dunn's Famous restaurant is roomier than their Montreal downtown location and has free parking of course.
Favourite place to grab a late night meal, or when your wife's being annoying and wants some comfort food.
