At Dunn's, we ordered a smoked meat sandwich platter to share with friends, along with coleslaw and half a dill pickle. When the waitress asked us what kind of meat we wanted, make sure to specify "fat." Anything leaner than medium won’t give you the authentic smoky meat experience. While it’s a bit lighter than Schwartz's, it was still very tasty.
For those who complain that the meat was dry, just remember: if you want smoked meat, go for the fat. It’s not meant to be a health food, so just enjoy it!
