We live close by the DM but it’s not 1st choice place, especially if wanting food. Nice outside tent, especially on nice sunny day to go for drinks. However the food in my personal opinion is sadly below average and overpriced for what is received, unless ordering a burger. E.g £10 for cold nacho which are soggy underneath as dripping in puddle of sweet tomato sauce. Drinks choice and price are generally good. Albeit the frozen daiquiri machine is always broken not working. Really wish they would sort that out to stop my Mrs complaining. Staff generally the young servers are helpful and pour a decent pint. However bar manager is not so customer focused if you have an actual problem.
We had this hotel booked for us as part of a driving tour through Scotland. This hotel is a very good place to stay, with interesting character. The staff were accommodating and helpful, the room was cozy, clean and comfortable, with a very nice ensuite bathroom. We ate at the restaurant twice for supper, both the service and the food were good. The breakfasts were included with our room, and had a good choice on the breakfast menu, always tasty and filling. We forgot a jacket there, and they were very helpful by mailing it on ahead to another location we were going to. Highly recommend this hotel!
The Dutch mill is such a great place to visit for drinks and food. Staff are always very friendly and attentive. Ordered the chicken fajitas which came in a sizzling platter. Food was fantastic would highly recommend. All in all a great night out and thank you to Tony who took care of us.
Nice and quiet on a casual evening, enjoyable music and atmosphere for a quiet Monday. Came here with family to enjoy some good food, definitely not disappointed. I ordered the steak and the peppercorn sauce that came with it was amazing.

Traditional pub food, great atmosphere for the bar area, however the dining section was lacking.The staff were nice and accommodating. The food was what is expected with pub food. The steak pie and fish and chips special was delicious.
Nice place and usually a good time, but bar service was poor last night and some staff with bad attitudes. Letting the place down sadly.
Just pop in for z quick pint, nice place to sit outside in the sun, when it's there and while away a little time. Lovely space!
Excellent service and food, staff were lovely and very helpful. Ruby thoroughly enjoyed her food and all of the attention!

Nice busy, meal very good, staff nice and attentive. Car park down the very narrow lane at the rear a challenge !
