I dined here today with my husband, who ordered the 3 Amigos while I opted for the seafood Alfredo. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst meals I've ever experienced. The pasta was extremely hard and nearly inedible, the Alfredo sauce was watery and lacked any flavor—it's hard to believe an Italian restaurant could mess up pasta or sauce like that. The seafood was overcooked and definitely not fresh. As for the 3 Amigos, the highlight was a single shrimp that also did not taste fresh. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Our meal cost over $100, which feels like money thrown away.
I have visited this restaurant numerous times, but I’ve never had such a disappointing experience until now. We were served toasted bread that was moldy. When we brought this to the server's attention, no one from management stepped in to resolve the issue. Additionally, we faced an unusually long wait for our dinner. The penne with vodka sauce lacked any flavor, while the chicken marsala was the only highlight of the evening—it was excellent. Unfortunately, everything else fell short. Used to be good but gone downhill. My wife ordered a dinner portion of Gnocchi Sorrentino for $19.95. The picture shows the portion is half of what they used to serve . When we called to complain that we received a lunch portion, the manager Herman told us it wasn?t his fault. He wrote down dinner portion. He said he has no control over what the kitchen puts out. This place used to be fantastic! My family and I would order takeout from here as a treat once a month for years. However, it seems like they've gotten new owners because the quality has really declined. We sometimes try to give it another shot due to our fond memories, but each time it only gets worse. Honestly, you're better off heading to the grocery store to cook your own meals or ordering from a local pizzeria for the price you pay here. Réservez une table maintenant
Nice quaint place. Its been around since I was a kid in Grammer school. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. I ordered shrimp scampi.....I will say it was very oily and the pasta was to al-dente, pasta was not cooked enough....the shrimp was very good. This was a family reunion and everyone else seemed happy with what they ordered. As for myself if I ever go there again, I won't be ordering shrimp scampi.
Flavor of the food was really good. I ordered the chicken Marsala and the mushrooms were fresh and not canned. The scallop scampi my mom ordered was flavorful but the pasta was way too al dente. We tried yo get the attention of the staff but it took a while to get someone to take the plate back to the kitchen. When it came back it was cooked right but it had an additional and excessive amount of oil.
Went to E&V for a co-workers retirement. Food was amazing! The serving has lasted me three meals. Service was impeccable! I believe everyone in attendance would agree. We had an amazing time.
