This is the best carvery I have ever had. There is a good range on the menu but I always go for the carvery because it is so good. They are really generous with the portion sizes and have a range of meat and vegetables. All of it is absolutely delicious, especially the gravy and dauphinoise potatoes. Honestly there is so much food that you can definitely get away with having the small plate rather than the regular. The pub itself is really nice with a great view of the canal. eating was very nice, abundantly portioned and at a reasonable price. we went in and managed to get a table, but I would recommend the book to them. beautiful atmosphere and pleasant environment. a drink of the local ale (worcestershire way) on the canal side is perfect on every Sunday afternoon in the afternoon. we will definitely return.
Late lunch ordered ham salad. When it came WOW it was a proper salad. Not just a bit of limp lettuce and a bit of cucumber. It was fantastic I enjoyed every mouthful. My husband enjoyed his light bite ham egg and chips it was large he said I thought I asked for a light bite....... will definitely be visiting again.
eating excellent we had carvery celebrated my daughter birthday there were 6 adults and 2 children the staff was very friendly and helpful many foods lots of fresh vegetables and choice of 4 meats would go back and finish night the sat in the beer garden over the search channel booting top brands from us
