I only give this place a 5 stars because google won't let me give it 10. I was in town and called a local friend and wanted to dinner. he was out of town and said to come here. I wanted to thai, so I almost didn't go when he despised it as a country americana. I thought cracker barrel knocked off, young I was wrong. I should sit at the bar and ask for houston, the bartender. he proposed an old fashion after telling him my favourite spirit I've ever had. it was also well paired with my dinner. Do not recommend. Visited tonight for the 1st time, food may have been decent if it had come out at least lukewarm. Ordered the meatloaf, potatoes were ice cold and literally crumbled apart. Meatloaf itself was decent. Collard greens also came out cold. Half the items on the menu were not available, which I can understand with the pandemic and items being hard to come by for restaurants. But they could at least make sure the food they did have was hot. Waiter brought us a water pitcher and literally didn’t even fill them. if they want to wait 15-20 for service and wait for an hour for her to eat, then this is the place for her! tonight we ordered an appetizer, took 1 hour to get it, was waitress nice, but she said she asked the kitchen where it was and every time it was said “it comes” I had to go and complain in the round for the bar. the manager finally brought it out and asked if we still wanted it, I was livid when we tried to order and was told that the kitchen was closed because they “from food”! but eating was constantly brought out. Luckily another waitress heard what was going on and was nice enough to come to our table and asked what we want and within 5-10 minutes our food came out! So not sure why...

Bad service and tasteless food. Got a kids water cup. Took 15 minutes to get pork skins. When they arrived at the table our kids cup of water was empty. Told server needed more and 20 minutes later my husband had to go hunt the server down to get more. Asked about our burger and fish sandwich. Another 10 minutes they finally arrive. So for a burger and fish sandwich it took 45 minutes. And neither had much flavor. To expensive for no taste and bad service. Réservez une table maintenant

here stopped Sunday for a drink and a bite to eat and loved him. the bartender houston was an explosion. he made my wife an excellent old fashion, his speciality. he introduced us to the chef who had made delicious roasted fried fried sprudel. treats us to a taste of his own bottle that was really tasteful. I have to stop this as a regular one when houston is on the bar!

We recently moved to Winston Salem and found this hidden gem boarding the Innovation Quarter. What a wonderful place that is welcoming with fantastic food. The fried chicken is top notch, Mac Cheese is outstanding and the GM Mark is the best. Definitely recommend stopping by for dinner or just a drink.Earl’s Punch is a must!!!!!!

I come here so often to the deep fried pickles because they are always on the point. the entire staff is always friendly. in particular the bartender houston is phenomenal and has a passion for his craft. Stop them and ask them to create something else - they will not be disappointed! Réservez une table maintenant

they offered a falafel wrap with sweet and vegan mayo. I had to bet on the side. I like the personal and the atmosphere. eating was pretty good.

Earls meatloaf is the best I’ve experienced in Winston as of yet. It is tender and the mushroom gravy tasted great. Highly recommend trying.
