Just hubby and I. The waiting area-tight space for multiple parties and the door opening and closing is drafty! The restaurant is loud. I assume the “bar” part is the culprit with loud music playing and people trying to talk over it. Our server was...great but clearly being pulled in many directions. She advised happy hour was always quite busy and apologized for our drink order taking so long. Our food was delicious and plentiful. Kudos to the chef. When we left there were 20 somethings partying outside the restaurant, empties and a beer case could be seen. We had to walk though them to get to our vehicle. Our party of 5 ate lunch on October 16th, 2021. We chose this restaurant because they offered outdoor patio seating during Covid. The service was good, patio was nice and warm and beer and cocktails were tasty. However, the food was very disappointing. The tofu...wasn’t cooked on the inside; fries were dry and lacked flavour; burger tasted like fast food quality; the Asian dish tasted like someone had poured a sauce out of a jar on everything. The bill was close to $200 for five drinks and five entrees. That would have been ok if the food was better. Would not recommend.
It has been a good ten years since we have been to this particular Earls. Nice revamp, updated feel. The food is pretty good. Whether it was the burger or their Mother Earth Bowl, it was well made and tasty and we were very satisfied....Absolutely no complaints. The server was attentive without being obtrusive. It was a good experience all in all. We will go back when we are back in the country.
We were served by Emily on Thursday night and she was a wonderful waitress. She was attentive and even provided us with directions to get back to the highway. Our food was served promptly and hot. I typically don't write reviews, but exceptional service like Emily's deserves to be acknowledged! Thank you, Earls Langley, I will definitely return!
