I used to know the previous owners well and loved their food while growing up. Despite the change in ownership, I wanted to give this restaurant a try since some of the dishes are still the same as before. While the food was different overall, the house special chicken tasted quite familiar, and the other dishes we ordered were very good as well. However, we weren't fans of the black sauce jajangmyeon; it definitely doesn't match the Korean-Chinese style from before. Everything else was enjoyable, though. This is a solid spot for a casual meal. I recommend trying their green onion pancakes and soup noodles. However, since the ownership change a few years back, I've noticed a gradual decline in food quality, despite rising prices. On the bright side, the service remains commendable. They also offer weekday lunch specials. One feature I appreciate is that their menu includes pictures of each dish, making it easier to know what you’re ordering. On Monday, December 4, 2023, I had dinner at Earthern Restaurant in Hacienda Heights with my cousin. The Chinese food there was excellent. The jellyfish dish was one of the best I've ever tasted; it was crunchy, sweet, salty, and flavorful, perfectly complemented by cucumbers. The shredded pork with bamboo shoots was savory, and the crunch of the bamboo shoots paired wonderfully with it. The restaurant also features a pleasant and clean decor. I ordered the beef noodle soup, and it was absolutely delicious. The beef was incredibly tender, and the broth was rich and flavorful. We also sampled the Kung Pao chicken and shrimp chow mein, and everything was great. The only downside was the lack of attention at our table when it came to drink orders or water refills, but the satisfaction I got from the delicious food more than made up for it. This restaurant truly knows how to create the perfect dish. The combination of tender chunks of beef and flavorful noodles in their Beef Noodle Soup is outstanding. I must also highlight their handmade steamed vegetable dumplings, which are beautifully crafted and delicious. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional, and you won’t find anything like this anywhere else. Earthen definitely has it right!

The food is consistently good, and the service is satisfactory. The ambiance has remained the same for years but is still well-maintained. Overall, it's a great place for a quick bite. It's worth noting that they close from 3-5 PM and are closed on Tuesdays.

First time to be here. The assorted vegetables taste horrible, some of them taste sour and bitter. Fired rice not bad. Réservez une table maintenant
