The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding; the staff is very accommodating! The diner is also handicapped accessible. I have been dining here for many years, usually visiting at least once a week, if not more. It's a fantastic value for your hard-earned money! I highly recommend Eastbay Diner!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I visited today for breakfast with my family, and it was a terrible experience. When we were seated, the table had syrup left on it and wasn't clean. We ordered pancakes, eggs, and an omelet with cheese, but they forgot the eggs and cheese, and still charged us for it! The food was completely bland with no seasoning whatsoever; it was inedible. Our waitress was inattentive and spent more time on her phone than serving us. I highly recommend staying away from this restaurant. If I could give it NEGATIVE stars, I definitely would!
The portions are generous, and the waitress is friendly, though she seems to be overwhelmed with the workload. Even during busy times, there always appear to be free tables, which is a plus. However, the negatives include dirty silverware and plates. I had to return a knife three times, and we ended up wiping the plates ourselves. Additionally, be cautious when specifying how you'd like your food cooked, as it may come out a bit dry and overcooked if you’re not clear.
I was charged $30 for what amounted to a couple of pieces of bread, and I couldn't bring myself to pay it, so I walked out. I was extremely frustrated. How could they serve something so subpar to customers? It’s just cheap and disappointing.
As for parking, the situation was equally dismal. Overall, this place is a huge letdown. Save your time and money!

I really enjoy both the exterior and interior ambiance of this restaurant. The food is tasty, offering straightforward diner fare. For my meal, I opted for takeout. The price per person ranged from $10 to $20. I would rate the atmosphere a solid 5 out of 5.

Went for breakfast don't have the waffles came cold sent back and came back not fresh but slightly warmer and hard as a rock. Very disappointed. Pancakes were not much better no taste.
