We have been frequenting Eastside Mario's in Guelph for over 15 years. Throughout the years, we have witnessed numerous changes, but one constant has been the respectful and kind treatment we've received from the staff—hosts, cooks, servers, and managers alike. As regulars, I can confidently say on behalf of many others that this is a fantastic place with a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. The staff genuinely get to know you, and it feels like an extended family. Keep up the great work, my friends. - Cindy P
Our server Sara/Sarah was excellent! Super friendly and accomodating. The food is always 'good ' here. I don 't expect gourmet by any stretch but it 's more than good enough for the service and quality that I would expect from a franchised restaurant in this category. I always visit when I 'm back in Guelph and will do so again next time I 'm up!
Reservations are recommended. Went with my family (wife and 2 year old) and friends on a Saturday. Server gave me the 'look ' when I didn 't order anything for myself (only because I knew my wife and 2 year old wouldn 't finish their food). Server changed their demeanor when I paid for the bill and gave a 20% tip.
It has been 22 years since I dined at that location. The service and food was excellent then. The service and food was excellent now! The location is unbeatable, and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is outstanding. Typically, this restaurant chain can be quite average, but this particular location truly offers an exceptional dining experience. Great job, Guelph team!
