One of my favorite reasons for coming back is their Toothfish. It's a simple yet delicious preparation that is quite rare to find in Asian restaurants. While it's not cheap and the portion size is smaller, it's incredibly tasty.
The menu might be considered small (though I think it's reasonable), and some may find the prices steep. However, I believe the flavors justify the cost. You can really tell that the chef puts a lot of thought into sourcing fresh ingredients, crafting the menu, and preparing the food. While some dishes might taste like simple home cooking, there is an unmistakable artistry in how they are created, showcasing the unique style of Easy East's kitchen.

I dined at this restaurant during the week with three other people. Unfortunately, three of the special menu items were unavailable, and some dishes had to be ordered a day in advance. We ended up ordering five regular dishes along with roasted rice. Only one of the dishes was decent; the other four were disappointing and poorly priced. I don't understand how this restaurant has such a high rating. It's expensive, and the food does not live up to expectations. There are many better alternatives at this price point.
We ordered some takeaway from this restaurant and enjoyed the food very much. We had: Eggplant with mince and salted fish. The texture of the eggplant was perfect. It was not overly oily and the serving size was huge. Chicken spare ribs in salted egg yolk. Everything tastes better with salted egg yolk. The chicken was golden, crispy and delicious. It was not overly salty. With just these 2 dishes, Easy East has won me over!
The place is cozy and very inviting. We opted for the banquet, and there was an abundance of food! Everything was expertly prepared and delicious.
What stood out the most was the warm and generous service we experienced. We will certainly be returning!

Good service! The place is best for groups or families as they have big tables. FRESH food but not many options. I wish they had Dumplings Would still come back though!
Ordered 6 dishes. Good food. Nicely done. Prices are in the mid range, not as competitive as similar restaurants in Boxhill. Good service. Would come back.
