I was the 3rd person in line when they opened, I placed my order at 11:09 AM. After a 40 minute wait and watching 20+ customers come in, sit down, receive there order, finish eating and leave I went to the counter and was rudely told that dine in customers would be served before the carryout customers. My husband and I have dined at this restaurant three times, but we will not be returning. I have had experience in the restaurant industry for six years, so I understand that every restaurant has its off days. However, the customer service at this location is unacceptable. On two occasions, I called ahead for carryout, only to find that I had to wait in a long line with dine-in customers. This is not acceptable, especially when there are multiple cash registers available. Most restaurants have a separate area for carryout orders, and this place needs to take note. The staff today was so sweet! The food is a little bit expensive depending on what you get, but honestly, I haven’t had Customer Service like that a long time. A young person probably a food runner overheard us saying it was someone’s birthday in our party. They wished him a happy birthday asked about his plans and was just generally kind. Then another person came over and offered a birthday treat. Everyone in food service is tired overworked and things just haven’t been the same since Covid. But I just wanted to acknowledge the people that still have a natural smile on their face and try and make the place where you’ve chosen to spend your money worth it.
Food was mediocre. Waited 1.5 hours for a catfish dinner and my kids seafood boil. No service except a girl who was obviously overwhelmed and kept explaining how she didn't usually work at this particular location. She did the best she could but the food lacked flavor. I had the driest, mushiest beans ever, Cole slaw had no flavor either and my 4 pc catfish was just 2 fillers cut in half. I spent 66 bucks for nothing. First and last time trying this place.

I asked for the manager because I wanted to tell him about the service that I received. The staff was professional and attentive. I have to point out two individuals. They are Ian and Chase. Ian greeted us and took our order with such patience and professionalism. He even came several times to check on us to see if we needed anything. I also met Chade who cooked the catfish, which was awesome. The whole experience was just wonderful!
I really like Eat My Catfish. This visit was not the best however. Order was ready 20 minutes later than expected, I was told the blackened fish was taking longer. Then was told corn not available. The fried green tomatoes were puny compared to previous visits and tasted off. A few of the shrimp were burned. I have faith future visits will be better, yet this one was not optimal.
My wife and I dined with two other couples at this restaurant for the second time. We are eagerly looking forward to returning again soon. The food was excellent and we appreciated the relaxed atmosphere that allowed us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. Overall, we would rate the food 5 out of 5.
Food was delicious. The food was delicious with nice size portions. Talley was our waitress and she was amazing. Eric was amazing as well very friendly m. We will return when we visit again.Kid-friendliness: The kids meal were a nice serving.

During our journey to Texas, we made a pit stop at this restaurant. The staff was welcoming and the food was delicious, especially the catfish. We will definitely visit again on our next trip through town.
Cashier had bad attitude! Also for got to give me my bbq sauce after I paid and no napkins smh go to the one in LR! Way better service!
