ecco - Réserver une table

We wanted to have brunch as this was very close to the place we stayed in. They seemed to have a lot of options, but to be honest it is not worth it for people like us. They had vegan and vegetarian options, but for me it was a little bit dry. We are not vegetarians, but we don't eat red meat. I was very disappointed as they only had pork as an option for meat,no fish and no chicken, which is for the price we paid not good enough. Even the selection of cheese was poor. They could have offered smoked salmon at least and more cheese options. There are two options for brunch: 1) speed brunch: you pay a lot less but have to finish within one hour, which to be honest is enough (9.99 on Weekdays and 10.99 on Weekends). 2) normal brunch: you have unlimited time until 3PM (13.90 on Weekdays and 17.90 on Weekends). We would not go there again, but I guess for vegans this place is a good option

Ecco is one of the südstadt favorites, which is no surprise. Perfect location, very nice staff and good healthy food. The restaurant is located in a quiet side street near Chlodwigplatz. There is a very nice big terrace with lots of space, and the interior is cozy, clean and luminous. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. After a few visits I was surprised they remembered my name and my favorite drinks.There's a wide selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The teas and the cocktails are really good. The food is also delicious, but mostly tends to the "healthy" stuff (salads, flammkuchen, vegan food, pasta, crostinis...), so that people looking for a heavy german food will be disapointed. A perfect restaurant for an informal dinner, brunch or relaxing breakfast.

Nice (coffee)bar and restaurant, close to the cosy Severinstrasse and the city centre. Good to go for a nice coffee, a wide range of (herbal) teas or a big lunch. Nice breakfast, too! Trendy place for a variety of people: locals, tourists, all gathered on a nice square/terrace or inside. Soups (biological ingredients), flammkuchen, sandwiches, salads, you name it and it's on the menu. Unfortunately limited choice of dinner.

We got there on a Saturday for their famous brunch... We enjoyed the food, it was quite well cooked and there was a good variety. However the waiters were extremely rude, I wouldn't dare coming there anymore. I like being treated nice

Decent lunch spot with great variety of not so healthy and even unhealthier comfort food. Good coffee and well priced menu. Sadly staff is ridiculously unfriendly, arrogant and unhelpful.
