eCHo - Réservation de table

We have been staying in Zurich for two days in the Marriott hotel and on our last night we read great reviews about the Echo restaurant in the hotel. We were warmly greeted by Nadja and we instantly knew we had made a good choice. The room itself was really pleasant and airy, with lovely views of the surrounding trees. Nadja was an amazing waitress - very funny and it felt like chatting with a friend straight away. She let me sample two local wines to see which I preferred (one of which was outstanding). Highly recommended restaurant!!! First of all, there is an air conditioner, which is great because most of them don't have one. In general, a really great atmosphere. Entering from where the white elephant is the host. The service is at a very high level. The food is excellent and also a beautiful plate. The fondue, which is the flagship dish, is really delicious. The risotto and the tartar were also really tasty! There are other dishes like meat fondue or meat that is brought to the table on a skewer and literally lights a fire at the table and it's a show. My partner and I were blown away by the service given by Alexander! We shared the rösti to start with then indulged in the fondue as the main course. Safe to say we didn't leave hungry! Such a great meal and not overly expensive compared to many other restaurants with Swiss cuisine. Extremely impressed! Will recommend to anyone else that visits Switzerland! The whole place is just overrated and expensive for no reason. A steak with sugar and something else which makes the fire burn for a set period of time is cool and all but adds absolutely no flavour and for its price it's pathetic, it's just for show. The fondu was fine, wish there were better options to go with it. The potatoes were just sad and no effort in them.. literally. Réservez une table maintenant

After more than one year we have tried this restaurandt again. But we were disappointed. The swiss food is like in any other simple swiss restaurandt in zürich. As a swiss person I would recommend to go to a less expensive swiss restaurandt to gave the same quality, or to go to an other one with the same prices, but better food and much better service..

Really enjoy our dinner at ECHO Restaurant. Everyone in my family of 5 found something enjoyable on the menu. We had to order the quintessential Cheese Fondue. It was delicious. Service was impressive and Atmosphere was a delight. Will definitely eat here again. (Order the Fried Chicken. It is a small cornish hen, perfect portion for an individual!)
