The hostel just cancelled my booking before arrival, although they had confirmed it before. I contacted them on WhatsApp for the booking and they asked me to transfer 50% of the amount via Nequi. As I had never heard of Nequi before, I kindly asked them if there is a physical place where I can make this transfer and they replied that my booking is already confirmed so for me no need to transfer anything. 2 hours later they text me: “Sorry, there is no availability anymore”. Heee what?!?! Why don’t you tell me from the very beginning that my booking isn’t secured until I transferred 50% of the amount, which wouldn’t have been any problem at all if shortly explaining how Nequi works.
We loved eco point (and Minca) so much we kept extending our stay. The location is great, in town but far enough away that it's not noisy. It is also right on the river with its own private path leading down to it. The best thing about it is the staff though. The owner is extremely welcoming and fun. He is always asking if we are enjoying ourselves, explaining something interesting or offering plates of traditional food which the staff have made for themselves. The rest of the staff are very friendly as well. It is beautiful out in the back section, and we saw hummingbirds every day
Very natural and peaceful place. Just at the end of the city and at the beginning of the way to many places you need to see. Large back porch that is very quiet. A beautiful walk down to the stream on a path lined with thick yellow ship cables. Owner was very friendly and attentive to your needs. Recommended especially for its location. The price is also fair.

to remain a more beautiful economic place. excellent location to explore the city. many restaurants, bars and travel agencies around. the staff is very friendly and can help them with everything they need. gerardo is the owner, he can speak English perfectly and luis is the administrator, super friendly! highly recommended.
it was very nice to hang out and relax a nice quiet place close to restaurants caffes and waterfall with the river directly under the balcony, good kitchen and above all the staff was amazing had a great time to talk with them and angelo lives up to its name, almost got convinced to stay a month!
I can't recommend enough. the personal is honest and nice. I left my $200 headphones and when I came back, they had found them and returned them to me. not all people are so friendly and honest. beautiful rooms and good prices. I would definitely recommend for a nice budget option stay in minca
