The food here is absolutely delicious! The wine selection is outstanding as well. The dress code is a bit formal—jeans, a dress shirt, and a sports jacket seem to be the norm. The steak was incredible, and the calamari was fantastic too! Every dish was, as you might expect, amazing! The servers are very knowledgeable and really know what they’re talking about. Oh, and did I mention the wine? They've got a wonderful variety with a wide range of prices. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The sweet potato side dish was excellent. We were part of a very large party (about 50 people). One waitress was fabulous, going out of her way to make sure I was notified of anything with onions in it, as I'm allergic. She was very sweet. The cook just couldn't get my steak right. I never send food back but I can't eat rare steak that's how it was served, twice. Finally got it right boy was it yummy! The Old Fashioned with private label burbon was tasty, for my 1st Old Fashioned.
I enjoyed my food it was fresh and came out in a timely manner. I ordered the Filet Del Mar the shrimp was not to appetizing. I didn’t complain because I ordered crab legs which made up for the lack of flavor on the shrimp. The crab legs were seasoned very well, you really didn’t need the butter. My service was very subpar the other waitresses checked on us more than our own. Now that I think about it I should have tipped them.
My husband and I love Eddie Merlot's. We been there several times. We were there last night for our 15th anniversary. Our server, Bonifacio was the best. So courteous, knowledge, professional and attentive. Highly recommend to everyone. Ambience is perfect. Food cooked perfect. Filet mignon was tender, juicy and cooked the way we ordered. Nice upscale environment. Food was excellent. Service should have been better considering the premium price. On the slow side for table attendence. They didn't clean the crumbs/pepper off the table or serve the alacarte sides onto the entre plate. This may sound pretentious but again for the prices $80/steak) it should be part of the dining experience.
On one hand I wanted something different other then cheese or pepperoni, but thank God I didn't get a whole pizza the single slices are very big! The pizza was soft and taste really good! No doubt I'm coming back with my family for a big pizza and some game play too.
Oh my!! The steak was to die for!!! Best steak I have every had in my whole life!! Service was great!! We will definitely go again!!
