Nice casual eatery. I was in Blakely for training at the Arena Training Facility and we decided to eat here for dinner after class. I found the service faster than promised. There was a sign on the wall warning that orders could take between 45 60 minutes. My order was out in less than 15 20 minutes.I had a dozen raw oysters and the Gator Tail appetizer. The oysters left a lot to be desired. Many were ridiculously small. Tastewise, they were unexceptional. I found myself using their delicious homemade oyster sauce. I usually don't like to adulterate my oysters and just appreciate the fine flavor of the individual oyster. The Gator Tail bites were the most tender gator that I have ever eaten....
I ordered a half pound of fried shrimp, served with two sides: a baked sweet potato and a side salad topped with cheese and bacon bits. It was delicious! My friends chose the mullet and scallops, and none of us left feeling hungry. Upon entering, we found a nice dining room, followed by a bar and additional seating as we moved further inside. We were really pleased with our visit and definitely plan to return. The raw oyster season is approaching, and I’m sure they will be bustling with customers. I did forget to take photos of our meals until after we finished, but it was all so good that we barely noticed!
