We were in Kamloops in August for a swim meet for 4 days and we wanted to have a healthier option for our son instead of burgers and fries. We tried Edo Japan at this location and, hands down, this one is far better than the locations in the lower mainland. The bento boxes and rice bowls were fresh and hearty. We ended up ordering take out from here all three nights that we were in Kamloops. We didn’t order the sushi so I can’t speak to that but the hot items we ordered were good and a upgrade to typical burgers and fries.
Be very cautious: if you've been to a playground, you might expect some playfulness around a sandbox. However, when it comes to handling food that someone is about to eat, that kind of behavior should stay at the park. I've never experienced anything like this before. Food should always be handled with the utmost care. On the positive side, the staff was polite and refunded our money. However, better food handling practices are essential for all employees.
During my visit to Kamloops, I dined at this restaurant and had a pleasant experience. The food was quite good, and I chose to dine in. While the management was efficient, there is always room for improvement. I ordered the vegan rice bowl, and I was also recommended their brown sugar bubble tea, which I absolutely loved! I highly recommend it if you haven't tried it yet. I would definitely consider returning to this place in the future.
I placed an order through the app, but it didn’t go through, and they didn’t answer the phone. What a frustration! They claimed they were busy, but there were several customers waiting and three employees just standing around the counter. Are you telling me that none of them could pick up the phone? It’s hard to believe. I drove all the way from the south end—15 minutes—just to leave without any food. Réservez une table maintenant
Out of all the Edo Japan locations we've visited, this one remains the best. The food is incredibly delicious, the staff is very friendly, and the place is always clean. It's consistently a wonderful experience. Thank you to the entire Northills Edo Japan team; we truly appreciate all of you!
