Tapas- und Sharing-Konzept ist schon seit geraumer Zeit ein Trend, dem viele Restaurants folgen. Das „edo Restaurant schließt sich an. Die gebotenen Gerichte sind in Tapas-Größe, ausgelegt für 1 Person. „Sharing“ ist damit nicht möglich. Auch mehrere Gerichte auf einmal zu ordern ist schwierig, weil die Tische zu klein sind. Als Thailänderin bin ich an Tapas- und Sharing-Konzepte kulturell gewohnt und finde es auch gut. Grundsätzlich also ansprechende Konzepte. Neben den kleinen kleinen Tischen erweist sich jedoch auch die Auswahl für Vegetarier:innen und Veganer:innen als stark limitiert. Wir sind gerne im Edo… sehr stylische, trotzdem gemütliche Atmosphäre und freundlicher Service! Asiatisch inspirierte, kleine Gerichte z.T. auch in der wunderschönen Aussenbar), die geschmacklich toll und auch überraschend sind. Tataki mal vom Lachs, mal vom Rind) in Nussbutter unbedingt versuchen… ebenso die Garnelen im Knuspermantel und die Sorbet-Triologie auf dem Eisblock serviert. Wer keinen Koriander mag: unbedingt sagen… er ist häufig dabei! Die Preise sind angemessen, dem Handwerk und der Qualität der Produkte entsprechend. Immer gerne wieder!
a visit in edo is almost obligatory if you are close. eating is super, with Asian influence. through the many small dishes, eating becomes an experience, not only through the taste, even the eye comes to its cost. the service is nice and friendly and of course also helpful in making decisions,beim eating and drinks.Clear recommended for all those who want to eat and sometimes something else.
Edles ambience, very elegant guest room. But we were kind and cordially received so that we felt comfortable. The nice and attentive service staff has explained the concept of the Edo in a comprehensible way. Our high expectations were even exceeded! We were able to taste several dishes and were thrilled throughout. In one word: taste explosion!
