I found this coffee shop by accident and I’ve never looked back. This place makes the best coffee and has the friendliest staff. I lost my job over covid and came to this place 5 days a week during lockdown just to have a much needed break. They know everyone’s name, even if you have visited just a handful of times. They know my order and always ask about what’s going on in my life, as well as every other regular customer. They not only serve fantastic coffee but great service with it . We called ahead yesterday on our way to Kew Gardens and reserved an outdoor table. When we arrived this morning, we were well taken care of by friendly staff and enjoyed delicious food. We could see and hear regular customers who live locally during our visit. We both appreciate independent businesses, and this restaurant is a great example of why we should choose local traders over global chains. I have been coming to this restaurant for a casual coffee and croissant for years, but recently lost my job. I now visit 2-3 times a week for coffee, breakfast or lunch while I search for new job opportunities on LinkedIn. The WiFi works well and the atmosphere is quiet, friendly, and comfortable. The food is good and reasonably priced. It is located away from the busy areas of Richmond, with metered parking just a minute's walk away, making it convenient. I have also met up with friends here for a chat. I highly recommend QBRU.
This is a really lovely neighbourhood cafe run by Sim, Bella and George. They are always friendly and welcoming and make an effort to get to know everyone. They know many of the customers that come in by name and so there are clearly a lot of regulars, including my parents and their friends. They are also kind enough to let me sit and do my work there when I need a break from doing it at home. Veggie and vegan friendly and accommodating if you want to switch something on an item on the menu. I highly recommend a visit.

Unlike the busy chain coffee shops in the city center, this independent café provides a quieter and more peaceful environment.
How lucky we are that this lovely cafe is local to us. Always a friendly welcome and lovely freshly prepared sandwiches and delicious pastries. It’s so nice to just sit outside too with a delicious coffee or my favourite Earl grey tea. Very personalised not like big chains. Give it a go if you are in the area, very close to Kew Gardens too.
A cracking little cafe, which seems popular with the locals. Stopped in for a mid week breakfast whilst visiting the area. Top notch quality and service. Also sells the parking tickets for the local street parking
Would not hesitate to recommend this care for business meetings or pleasure. Coffee is excellent, food menu is great, and the canolis are to die for.

Lovely stop on our way to Kew Gardens. Great coffee (don't try the coffee at the Gardens) and nice cakes as long as you have a sweet tooth.
