When my boyfriend placed an order specifying "no ham," the girl at the counter noticed and assured him that they would remake it without ham and apologized for the oversight. However, when he brought the pizza home, there was ham on it. He called the restaurant, and the girl there claimed that the cooks said they hadn't put ham on it. Clearly, that wasn’t true, as the ham was right there on the pizza. While I understand that mistakes happen, it's the dishonesty that upset me. In fact, a few slices didn’t have any ham at all, which made the situation even more peculiar. Ultimately, I had to throw away everything in the photo. We tried the pizza, calamari, and a meatball sub. As a pizza lover, I have to say this place serves some truly excellent pizza. The crust has a perfect balance of cheese and sauce, and it’s not greasy at all. The calamari was incredibly tender—definitely not chewy. The meatball sub was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The restaurant was spotless, and the staff were all very friendly. They also have a great selection of craft beers on tap and plenty of spirits behind the bar, with a very accommodating bartender. If you're looking to eat and drink, be sure to stop by—you won’t regret it!
Not very busy the day we stopped for lunch. My friend ordered weiners 'all the way ', and I chose the Twisted Sampler with three choices. The six chicken tenders were a good size, and the garlic bread was delicious, but they were out of brocolli bites. Fried pickles were substituted. The only issue I really had was that my friend 's food came out way before mine. By the time I was served, she was half-way through her meal. Prices were reasonable and the sampler had plenty of food to share.
We love your food we travel there at least once a month. The staff is getting bored with there jobs. Atl east that's how it comes across to an ex waitress myself! We are great tippers but she was slow didn't seem interested was more interested in bar or Co workers. We brought a new person tonight and she too is in the business and she loved the food not the service. Advice chat with staff we come first not coworkers gabbing! Hate to boycott a place because staff is lazy!

The restaurant is clean, offers delicious food at affordable prices, and has a friendly staff! Although the food and menu aren't particularly special, and I'm a bit puzzled by the "twisted pizza" in the name, the establishment does provide a respectable variety for a place featuring various cuisines. It's a great choice for groups with different tastes!
We had a baby shower for my daughter yesterday after the Blizzard of ?22 and we had a wonderful time! Nikki couldn?t have been more helpful and hands on from the planning stage to executing after numbers and all changes due to the storm. The food was delicious and everything went smoothly. A big THANK YOU to Nikki and the staff at Twisted/Exeter!
Effie is one of our extradition restaurants, although I landed some times inside. This time we ordered chefs salad, shrimp alfredo calzones, steak lovers calzone and a big meat lover pizza, all fresh and hot delivered to our door 45 minutes later. Everyone was happy with his choice. As always good food, good service, at a good price.
I had earlier stopped by the day to order apps after graduation, they were hot and ready when we arrived there, the waiting staff was still there at 19:30, I stayed there at 12:15. Great food and service, thank you! Effie, you have a great deal!

The food here is the best you can find in the area. The staff is fantastic and truly exceptional. Overall, it's a wonderful place to eat and enjoy yourself. I absolutely love Effie and Anthony—they're my favorite!
Just got two burnt pizzas delivered to work... again. Ordered at 11am and they were here within 40 minutes. Both hard as a rock. Both going into the garbage where they belong.
